I really want to see a fic about Alan and Roy being best friends. Sometime after Flynn’s disappearance…maybe just scenes from daily life like: supporting each other after Flynn vanishes, lounging on each others’ couches arguing about programming, having lunch in the office and bitching about the way the company’s going, etc. Quiet moments hanging out in Flynn’s abandoned arcade, wondering what happened to their buddy.

You could even go into how they met pre-movies and became friends, it’s all good! I just really wanna see Alan and Roy being besties. In some way it warms my heart to think of them doing friend stuff together, the way Ram and Tron never got to. :(

Gen or slash are both great, but if they’re in a relationship I’d wanna see the focus on the friendship aspects. \o/

So I was rereading “Respite in a Spring” and I got to thinking…

I’d like to see a fic where after spontaneously hooking up with Tron on the Grid, Flynn finds working with Alan very, very awkward. He didn’t anticipate this and doesn’t know what to do - Alan, for his part, is completely baffled.

Alan eventually corners Flynn and asks what the hell is wrong with him. It’s up to you where it goes from there - though I’d love to see an awkward attempt at explanation that ends with Flynn giving up, digitizing them both, and then admitting what he got up to in there. Bonus points for Alan being like, “WHAT. WHAT. DDDD:” I wouldn’t say no to Flynn/Alan or Flynn/Alan/Tron if it strikes your fancy.

tl;dr Having sex with your co-worker’s double makes for an uncomfortable work environment!
